Almost all people have a routine that they do in an everyday basis. Like, wake up early in the morning, groom themselves, eat breakfast go to work, lunch break, work and then go home and sleep. This repeats almost all throughout the year making them get used to that routine and in the long run they lose the meaning of "life".
We find things when we are not looking for it. Same principle applies to work. If you feel that things are kinda gettin sort of a routine and you feel that there's no more excitement, try doing things on the side that are not related to work. A total 180 degrees like "go home early ---> stay late drinking coffee with a friend" or "sleep early ----> have a season marathon of a tv series..". I know people will say i cant drink cause i might have a hangover or i cant stay late cause i might not perform fully at work.. Well its better to have a hangover or feeling of sleepiness cause it has it's cure... But for burnout? i doubt if there's cure.. or if there is, it's gonna take a long time to recover..
For my case, I'm having trouble with time. I want to learn so much and do so much in a very short time that slowly pressure is creeping my system. I had no time to watch tv, not much time to sleep and relax or play a game. What I did was do everything that i was missing. Yes, i lost a few hours for my art but it saved me years of emptiness..
